Inspired by GT racing in Japan, HKS developed its Hi-Power exhaust system with features found on racing exhaust systems. The HKS Hi-Power exhaust series incorporates a race inspired offset muffler and piping design, eliminating unnecessary bends for the straightest exhaust path. This less restrictive design allows the HKS Hi-Power exhaust to have greater exhaust flow and less back-flow pressure, enhancing higher-PRM power gains.

The HKS Hi-Power exhaust system can be used for both turbocharged and naturally aspirated car applications. For turbocharged applications, the large and smooth exhaust flow allows greater exhaust velocity for better mid-range boost response and high-RPM power. Naturally aspirated vehicles also benefit from greater exhaust flow capacity as engine tuning levels increase. Certain HKS Hi-Power applications are available in a Silent Hi-Power version which has an inner silencer built into the muffler.

Like the HKS Drager exhaust systems, the HKS Hi-Power exhaust systems are made from high-quality SUS304 stainless steel. Each HKS Hi-Power exhaust system features high-quality mandrel bent piping and application specific muffler assemblies.

This HKS Hi-Power axle back exhaust system comes with the rear muffler section only, starting from the rear axle of the car to the tip of the exhaust. Each HKS Hi-Power Axle Back exhaust system is designed for a specific car application and can be bolted on out of the box, using factory mounting hangers.

Depending on the car application, certain HKS Hi-Power Axle Back exhaust systems can have muffler tip size of 96mm, 115mm or 120mm in diameter and piping diameter size of 55mm to 95mm.

HKS also developed exclusive Special Edition HKS Carbon Titanium Hi-Power exhaust systems for certain popular car applications. Often times referred to as the HKS Carbon-Ti exhaust series, these exclusive versions of the HKS Hi-Power exhaust consist of a carbon-fiber wrapped muffler shell, titanium tip, and polished SUS304 stainless steel piping.
