Inspired by GT racing in Japan, HKS developed its Sport Exhaust catback system for a variety of sports compact cars. The HKS Sport Exhaust catback system aims to enhance exhaust flow and reduce back-flow pressure, enhancing higher-PRM power gains.

The HKS Sport Exhaust catback system can be used for both turbocharged and naturally aspirated car applications. For turbocharged applications, the large and smooth exhaust flow allows greater exhaust velocity for better mid-range boost response and high-RPM power. Naturally aspirated vehicles also benefit from greater exhaust flow capacity as engine tuning levels increase.

Like other signature HKS catback exhaust systems, the HKS Sport Exhaust catback systems are made from high-quality SUS304 stainless steel. Each HKS Sport Exhaust catback system features high-quality mandrel bent piping and application specific muffler assemblies.

Most HKS Sport Exhaust systems are complete catback units, which do not effect emission related hardware. Each HKS Sport Exhaust catback system is designed for a specific car application and can be bolted on out of the box, using factory mounting hangers.
