Inspired by GT racing in Japan, HKS developed its Sport Exhaust system for a variety of sports compact cars. The HKS Sport Exhaust system aims to enhance exhaust flow and reduce back-flow pressure, enhancing higher-PRM power gains.
The HKS Sport Exhaust system can be used for both turbocharged and naturally aspirated car applications. For turbocharged applications, the large and smooth exhaust flow of the HKS Sport Exhaust system allows greater exhaust velocity for better mid-range boost response and high-RPM power. Naturally aspirated vehicles also benefit from greater exhaust flow capacity as engine tuning levels increase.
Like other signature HKS exhaust systems, the HKS Sport Exhaust systems are made from high-quality SUS304 stainless steel. Each HKS Sport Exhaust system features high-quality mandrel bent piping and application specific muffler assemblies.
This HKS Sport Axle Back Exhaust system comes with the rear muffler section only, starting from the rear axle of the car to the tip of the exhaust. Each HKS Sport Exhaust system is designed for a specific car application and can be bolted on out of the box, using factory mounting hangers.
