The Tanabe Super Medalion Racing Catback Exhaust sytem features a riveted main muffler to allow the exhaust muffler section to be overhauled or to facilitate the replacement of the fiberglass packing. Special fiberglass packing is used to dissipate the exhaust reverberations and resist hardening from the extreme temperatures produced by high performance engines. An up-turned exhaust tip, as used on most race cars, gives the Tanabe Super Medalion Racing Catback Exhaust an aggressive rear appearance.

The Tanabe Super Medalion Racing Spec Catback Exhaust often achieves a 30% weight reduction when compared to a stock exhaust. The Tanabe Super Medalion Racing Spec Catback Exhaust is 100% SUS304 stainless steel for optimal durability. Stainless steel is used throughout the entire system from the exhaust hangers to the main muffler canister for enhanced appearance and increased resistance to the elements. The use of 1.2mm mandrel bent piping in a free-flowing straight-through design improves exhaust flow and decreases backpressure for optimal performance. 2.5mm or 7mm flanges are used throughout the catback exhaust for the various temperature sections. Argon welding is used on all of the exhaust system's stainless steel components. The highly polished finish of the main exhaust muffler canister will compliment your vehicle's appearance.
