The GReddy Intercooler Kit reduces the engine's inlet temperatures allowing a denser air charge to flow into the engine. This denser air charge translates into increased horse power at the same boost level and even more power at higher boost levels. Unlike factory installed intercoolers, which are undersized and are placed in locations prone to heat saturation, the GReddy Intercooler kits are configured for the optimal balance between heat dissipation and air flow. GReddy engineers properly size the number of rows in the core and tune the internal core with either a V-spec core or with a different inner fin pattern in the R-spec core. All cores are of a lightweight air-to-air, tube and fin design and feature TIG-welded ends, capped off with smooth flowing heavy-duty cast aluminum endtanks. Air charge is routed smoothly to and from the intercooler through light-weight mandrel bent aluminum piping and/or cast aluminum elbows and come complete with hose couplers. GReddy's vehicle specific kits include all the necessary mounts, piping and hoses required to install the kit.

V-Spec Core
To increase the number of tuning options, Greddy developed the V-Spec line of intercooler cores with an inner "Micro Grove Tube" design. Ideal applications for this design are low to medium-high boost levels in factory turbocharged engines and naturally aspirated engines with bolt-on turbo kits.

R-Spec Core
Greddy R-Spec cores feature the "Inner Fin" design that provides for exceptional heat dissipation. Ideal applications for this design are medium to high boost levels on higher horsepower or upgraded turbo engines. Some R-Spec kits are labled "HG" for High Grade. These kits are show quality kits that include piping and end tanks which have been hand-polished to a mirror finish.
