Koni Sport Shocks vastly improve the handling characteristics of any street vehicle while still offering reasonable ride quality. Depending on the application, Koni Sport Shocks are externally adjustable for rebound (some are double-adjustable for rebound and compression) and are either a twin-tube hydraulic or twin-tube low pressure gas design. Koni recommends their Sport series shocks to anyone interested in equipping lowering springs. Factory shock absorbers usually cannot handle the stiffer spring rate of an aftermarket lowering spring and will tend to ‘blow out’ quickly. A Koni Sport Shock used in conjunction with an aftermarket lowering spring will provide superior handling from the street to the autocross grid to the track without giving an overly harsh ride.
