The Blox Racing thermal intake manifold plenum spacer modification can quickly add 12HP-14HP to your VQ engine and is simple to install. This Blox Racing plenum spacer can be used for maximum performance enhancement. It also adds a substantially deeper growl under the hood. The induction sound becomes more like a V8 engine.
The 5/8" plenum spacer is fully compatible with the engine cover but will make the intake manifold rise too high to fit with the stock strut bar. To keep the strut bar, you can either shim down the top manifold cover or use an aftermarket strut bar that rests higher than the stock strut bar.
